I’ve installed a new filter, but the machine is showing an error and not drawing water. Why?

Soak the filter in water and gently shake or squeeze to release air before reinstalling. If the issue persists, feel free to reach out to us for a satisfactory solution.

Can this filter remove the taste of chlorine and other odours from the water?

Yes, its activated carbon component effectively removes 97.9% of chlorine taste, odours, and other common impurities, providing cleaner and fresher water for your coffee.

I’m not sure if this filter is compatible with my coffee machine.

It is fully compatible with most Sage coffee machines on the market, such as the Sage Barista Express and Sage Oracle. However, please note that it is not compatible with the Bambino models.

How often should I replace the filter?

The filter has an expected lifespan of 3 months or 150 litres, whichever comes first. If it hasn’t been used for an extended period, we also recommend replacing it to prevent bacterial growth inside.

I live in a hard water area—can this filter reduce limescale?

Yes, its ion-exchange resin component replaces calcium and magnesium in the water, softening it and protecting your machine, reducing the need for descaling your coffee machine.
